Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has expressed excitement as her and her husband’s movie, Lisabi ranks top ten most searched movies in 2024.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mo Bimpe shared a screenshot of the most searched movies in 2025 by Nigerians, which had Funke Akindele’s A Trībe Called Judah topping the list, followed by Treasure in the Sky, Damsel, Breath of Life, and more. Lisabi was ranked the 9th most googled movie by Nigerians.

Reacting to it, Mo Bimpe noted how data don’t lie and expressed how glad she is that when people talk about filmmaking in 2024. She noted how the movie was only released 3 months ago, as she further expressed joy over the news.

“Data(s) don’t lie and it gladens me that when people talk about filmmaking in 2024, Lisabi ranks in the top ten of most searched movies by Nigerians.

To even think that this movie was released in SEPTEMBER, barely 3 months ago, I am full of joy, now imagine what you’ll get from the sequel.

Mo Bimpe excited as Lisabi ranks top ten most searched movies

Lisabi is a film that celebrates the legacy of Lisabi, a legendary Egbaland warrior.

In September, Mo Bimpe expressed pride in her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, as he reflected on his journey to filmmaking and growth in the industry. Mo Bimpe questioned how she could scream for the whole world to hear her, as expressed her pride in him and his team at the masterpiece they created.

The couple first teased their movie project last year when they announced that they were set to make a huge statement in Nollywood. The couple announced the next phase of their business, Al Notions Studios as Lateef expressed how anxious he was to share the amazing stories they were working on with the world.

Mo Bimpe is undoubtedly a proud wife as last year, she had penned a note to her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, expressing pride in him for his exceptional role in Jagunjagun. Recounting how her husband broke his leg while on set, she crowned him her Superhero as she cheered on him for his hard work, dedication, determination, and talent.

Lateef had also credited his Mo Bimpe for keeping him going in his field and career, crowning her his biggest critic and number one fan. He revealed that his wife’s support and confidence in his abilities keep him going, as he stated that he works hard for his wife.
