Taking to her Instagram page to share a clip of the late actor and his family, she expressed sadness at not being able to celebrate him anymore with her different surprises. She noted how she is now celebrating him with tears, memories and a heart that still beats in rhythm with yours. “In July 2010, You Asked My Birth Date. I Asked For Yours, And You Said The Last Day In The First Week Of May, And I Said 7th? You Said (Smart With A Clap) It’s May 7th 2025, And I’m Not Celebrating You With My Different Birthday Surprises(I Doubt I Missed Any), Not With Candles And Cakes But With Tears And Memories And A Heart That Still Beats In Rhythm With Yours. I Had A Lot In Mind To Type, But At This Point, Words Fail Me Happy 45th Birthday, Our Daddy In Heaven. Joining her to celebrate him, actress Uche Nnanna commented with heartbroken and crying emojis Destiny Etiko wrote, “Chai Ebelle Okaro wrote, “May He continue to rest in the Lord Kris Asimonye wrote, “So many beautiful memories. Refreshing your memory, Junior Pope and others lost their lives after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke on April 8th. Luke had received tons of backlash for not providing the actors with safety procedures, which led to their deaths. On April 10th, Jennifer celebrated his one-year remembrance. She noted that it’s been a year of standing in the face of unimaginable loss, and not a day has gone by without a thought of him. She said her late husband had no idea how tough it had been trying to stay strong for each other as the world around them fell apart. Joining her, Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May Edochie, prayed that he would continue to rest in peace and that God would continue to protect his family. She noted how tough it is for a husband and wīfe to raise a family, let alone a single parent. In a message to his wife, she stated that God remains her strength and prayed that He inspires her to resume her business. Empress Njamah had shared a video of her organising a makeover for Jennifer on her husband’s remembrance day. Njamah noted that it’s okay not to be okay, but it’s okay to start feeling better. She noted that Junior Pope may be dead, but his legacy lives on through her and their kids. Empress told Jennifer to keep shining her light and making him proud.
