“I am the leader of all Fuji singers; if he wants to become the leader, he should k!ll me” – Alhaji Kollington breaks silence as he slams Kwam1 (Video)

Nigerian Fuji maestro Alhaji Kollington has fired back at his colleague, King Wasiu Ayinde better known as Kwam1 or K1.

Kemi Filani reported that in an interview with Agbaletu TV, Kwam1 revealed that he is angry with Kollington because he never showed up to offer his condolences when he lost his mum. K1 noted how he was there for Kollington when his mother died, brought dignitaries to the burial and handled all the finances, yet he repaid him back badly.

K1 further noted how Kollington was hale and hearty and was in Nigeria, yet he made an excuse that he called Kwam1 and didn’t pick up the call.

Responding to him in an interview, Kollington debunked his claims as he made it known that he called Kwam1 severally when his mother died, but he didn’t pick up nor did he return the calls. Questioning if Kwam1 was too busy to return his call, he claimed that the Fuji singer became proud after he became the Olori Omoba.

Kollington questioned if Kwam1 wanted to become God, noting that he is the leader of all Fuji singers, and Kwam1 has to kill him to get the title. The legendary singer said that K1 can never be the leader when he is alive.

“When Wasiu Ayinde’s mum d!ed, I called him severally. He didn’t pick nor did he return the calls. Even on New Year’s Day, I called, and he didn’t pick up. I was like, what’s wrong with this boy? So I let him be. He can’t tell me he was busy. What was he busy doing? If it is because he was crowned The ‘Olori omoba’, that position is for his family at Ijebu, not for me. Does he want to become God? I am the leader of all Fuji Singers. If he wants to become the leader, he can come and kpai me. He can never be the leader when I am still alive. For me to have survived the sickness that happened to me recently, it is only God that can kpai me”.

A year back, Kunle Ayanlowo, Kwam1’s former drummer, opened up on his time working with him as he recounted how Kwam1 treated him and others as a slave. He recounted an incident with Kwam1, which worsened his disclosed how Kwam1 ulcer and told Nigerians to hold Kwam1 accountable should anything happen to him.

Kwam1 debunked his allegations, telling him to stop lying as he noted how Kunle was trying to damage his reputation, meanwhile, he was the one who raised him when he was a nobody. In a diss track, K1 asserted that Kunle is always looking for money and happiness, and the consequence is what he sees after 32 years of working with nothing to show off.

Not one to be intimidated, Kunle had warned him to avoid messing with him as he recounted how he allegedly slept with his woman in Paris. He also debunked Kwam1’s statement that he couldn’t read or write English, as he questioned how he was able to communicate with the white people and admonished him to change his ways.
