Nigerian singer and rapper Eedris Abdulkareem and his wife, Yetunde Sekinat, are celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a loved-up photo of himself and wife, Eedris said he cherishes his wife more and more. He stated that he feels like the luckiest man in the universe to have found such a kind, considerate, and understanding wife.
Eedris noted how they have grown together, leaned on each other and learning from their mistakes. He described his wife as his friend and confidant, and expressed how glad he is that they’ve each other.
“With each passing day, I cherish you more and more. I feel like the luckiest man in the universe to find such a kind, considerate, and understanding wife. Two years ago, when the couple celebrated their 19th wedding, the rapper had penned a note to her, praising her for giving his life a new purpose even when he was trying to let go of everything. He stated that from the day he laid eyes on her, he knew they were meant to be together in times. He noted how his wife is always by his side.
For their 18th wedding anniversary in 2022, Eedris expressed gratitude to his wife for saving his life. He appreciated her for the chance she had given to him to continue living a normal, productive life. Recounting the couple’s past 18 years of marriage, he noted how they have been through it all together.
Recall that in 2022, the singer was diagnosed with kidney failure. His wife had volunteered to donate one of her kidneys to him.
