“I can never love you less” – Funke Akindele recalls Iyabo Ojo & Sikiratu Sindodo’s impacts on her humble beginnings

Nollywood filmmaker and box office queen Funke Akindele has recalled how her colleagues, Iyabo Ojo and Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, impacted her humble beginnings.

Funke is currently on vacation in Ghana with her bestie, Eniola Badmus, and skitmaker Kamo State.

During one of their jolly moments, Funke Akindele told Eniola Badmus how much of a thinker she is. She spoke about the time they had no fame and how they used every opportunity to get the attention of producers.

She spoke about how Sikiratu Sindodo borrowed her clothes for her to look classy and presentable on sets and how she returned devastated. She noted Iyabo Ojo’s impact, which included standing up for her until many in the industry noticed her.

Akindele mimicked one of Iyabo Ojo’s reactions when she was rejected by a producer on a movie set.

Kemi Filani recalls that Funke Akindele opened up about the hard times she had encountered before her rise to stardom a few days ago.

She shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest-grossing billion movie, A Tribe Called Judah, on her Instagram page.

She spoke about how the film depicted the present challenges of single mothers in raising children.

She counted herself as a testimony of believing in herself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.

The box office queen encouraged her followers to continue inspiring the next generation of women.

Funke Akindele is presently the highest-grossing Nollywood film actress in West Africa. Her movies Everybody Loves Jenifa, A Tribe Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street & Omo Ghetto The Saga are, respectively, the first four films on the box office table. Two of her movies have grossed over a billion naira.
