Nigerian media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has mocked herself for crying online.

On her latest podcast, Toke broke down in tears as she reflected on her trials as she prepares to become a first-time mum.

She revealed that she prayed to God that she wanted to turn 40 being a mum. She said that when she clocked 40 in November last year, God granted her desire, and she became pregnant in December. Toke noted how God didn’t fail her, and she stated that it is never too late.

Taking to her Instagram page to poke fun at herself, Toke said she can’t believe she cried online, especially when she used to laugh at people who cried online. Calling herself out, she noted how she is a mess as her heart is over the moon, and lines have fallen for her in pleasant places.

Toke added that she is a ball of emotions and noted that it’s just the beginning for her.

“I am a ball of emotions….. I mean the good kind of cry. I cannot believe I cried on the internet. I’m one to laugh at people who cry online, but let me call myself out before you guys do it. I’m a mess, my heart is over the moon, the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, and it’s only the beginning. It got pretty heavy on the Pod as I shared this precious journey with my @tokemoments family. God is never late, I hope this encourages you to hold on tight xx

In an episode on her podcast, earlier this year, Toke said she is ready to settle down as a second, third or fourth wife.

In a previous episode, Toke spoke about being single and childless at 40. She admitted that if she had gotten married for a second time, she would have divorced as she noted how the lessons never ended. The media personality stated that despite being single and childless at 40, she doesn’t allow herself to wallow in pity.

Last year, Toke had replied to a troll who mocked her for being unmarried. The troll identified had stated that the media personality had passed the single era and was now in her unmarried era. Toke reacted, declaring that God would do hers for her and that her troll would be alive to congratulate her.

The media personality, had addressed a wrong narrative about her regarding men and marriage. The divorcee noted how people think she hates men or is a man basher, which is wrong, as she loves marriage and being married. Toke stated that she greatly advocates marriage because 2 is better than 1.

Recall that, Toke was once married to fitness expert, Maje Ayinde but the marriage crashed in 2016, after two years on the grounds of adultery.
