Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has shared her views on cheating and relationships, saying it has never been a reason for her to end a partnership.
Naijaonpoint reports that the Afrobeats star spoke openly during an interview on the show Spill With Phyna.
The mother of one revealed details about past relationships and what has made her walk away from partners.
Tiwa said she has never cheated in any relationship and has also never left someone because of infidelity.
She explained that in her past relationship, it was her partner who ended things, and she only steps away from relationships over issues such as theft, drug abuse, or similar serious problems.
The singer admitted that people have indirectly stolen from her before, but stressed that cheating alone is not enough to break a relationship.
She said that even when partners cheat, they often apologise and try to make amends, which she is usually willing to accept.
Tiwa also shared that her calm nature can make it easy for partners to cheat without facing confrontation.
She said that she does not react publicly and prefers to handle situations quietly.
She said: “No, never. And I have never left someone for cheating. I didn’t even leave him; he left me. Well, indirectly, yes. Even when they cheat, they’ll come back and apologize. That’s not a deal breaker for me. They get away with it because of my personality. I can’t come online to rant, and when I see them, I can’t react.”
