Natasha Osawaru, the fiancee of legendary singer 2face, otherwise known as 2baba, has cleared the air on the beads controversies.

Kemi Filani reported last month that after the news of their engagement, 2face’s mother, Rose Idibia, made a passionate appeal to Natasha. She begged the Edo lawmaker to remove the beads she kept on her son’s hands and neck and free him. Rose Idibia noted how her son was going through a divorce process from Annie and as such, wasn’t in his right senses.

The singer’s family had even filed a petition to the DSS calling for the intervention of the singer from Natasha. His family claimed that the legendary singer had been missing and was last seen in his loungewear.

In an interview with blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus, Natasha revealed that the beads were given to her on her birthday and it represents a Princess from a Royal family. She disclosed that on her last birthday, her mother gave her three nice beads, which means a River that never runs dry.

Natasha said the peal which 2face is wearing was given to her by her granddad, who got it from the late queen of England. She explained that the beads were just traditional beads, which 2face liked and wore them. She made it known that there wasn’t anything diabolical about the beads.

“Honorable Natasha Osawaru Explains The Origin Of The Beads Worn By Singer Tuface

Honorable Natasha Osawaru took out time from her busy schedule to have a small chitchat with Journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus.
Stella asked Natasha about the controversial beads. Singer Tuface’s mum made a video begging that she take off the beads she wore on him…

Excerpts from the interview
Question – Let me ask you about the beads Tuface is wearing that his mum mentioned, did you gift them to him? Do they contain Jazz or juju?

Those beads were given to me on my birthday; they represent a Princess from a Royal family; you know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family.
On my last Birthday, my mum gave me three nice beads, they called them ”EZENEKA”which means a River that never runs dry. The pearl on his neck was given to me by my grandad, the queen of England gave it to him when she was alive… You know my grandad was a knight to the Queen of England… So they are just traditional beads; he liked them and wore them; there is nothing to them, and they are not diabolical and do not also contain juju …
I did not wear them on him; he saw them and liked them and wore them; if you observe, you will see that he likes beads a lot and has been wearing several before now…

Question -We have seen some videos; you are very jovial and energetic and all over the place; people are alleging that you take something to get high…

I entered the Assembly at the age of 28, I am 29 right now, so when people see people with that kind of energy, what do you want them to say? All this alleging and alleging, I don’t care about them because I am who I am and a happy person…I don’t even have an Instagram account, so I don’t get to see or read all these allegations…I am not personally on any social media, so whatever you are telling me now that people are alleging will be the first time I will hear it…..

Question -What about all the accounts on the social media in your name

-Those were opened by my team, and they ran it and posted things not me, and I stopped them from telling me about the lies being posted about me online. I am focusing on my career, and I am blazing on it, and that’s all I care about”.
