I feel bad losing my proactive Governor – Kano NNPP factional Chairman, Eldoguwa

The factional NNPP Chairman in Kano, Senator Masaud Jibrin Eldoguwa, has expressed sadness over the sudden resignation of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano from his party.

“I feel bad losing one of the proactive  governor of my party. Certainly, we in NNPP will be missing him greatly”, he said while speaking exclusively with DAILY POST in Kano.

Senator Masaud, however said Nigerians and all those expressing all sorts of negative opinions on the matter have to understand that joining a political party is a personal action to whoever wishes to do so, so also when withdrawing.

“Therefore, for Abba, it was a personal decision to withdraw, and I do not see it as an offense. After all, it was a decision the people of Kano State were expecting and waiting to see.

He said, “For too long, anxiety was very high, and the political atmosphere was tense, with a lot of uncertainty. Therefore, those who have been waiting to hear can now sigh a sign of relief and think of something else.

“However, as a chairman, I feel bad about losing one of the proactive governors of my party. Certainly, we in the NNPP will miss him.”
