Boluwatife Balogun, the son of music icon Wizkid, has poured out his heart on his new EP.
It is no longer news that the 14-year-old has released his first EP, Champion’s Arrival, a five-track project.
The 14-year-old has been creating a storm on social media with the lyrics of his songs. He revealed in his song, “Superstar,” that he had given love a chance, and he wasn’t doing it again. Bolu also vowed that when he is older, he will show love to his kids.
“They expected so much from a kid.
Only I know the shit that I face when I’m stressing.
When I’m older, I’m gonna show love to my kids.
Cus these nigga take the piss and life taught me a lesson”.
Speaking on heartbreak, he sang,
“I gave love another chance, ain’t going through it anymore.
Lock myself up in the mirror, I’m a superstar.
Mumsy helped me see my vision, we give thanks to God”.
Bolu also addressed those who called him a “nepo baby.”
“And they were calling me a nepo,
I agree to disagree,
My nigga, everything I’m saying in my tracks is really me, my nigga”.
