I had 20 boyfriends before meeting Ned Nwoko – Regina Daniels

Regina Daniels recently shared that she first met her husband, Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko, during an outing with one of her former boyfriends.

In an Instagram live session, Regina recalled, “I was visiting my boyfriend, and though I was upset about having to go sightseeing, I ended up meeting a charming man.”

The mother of two added humorously, “The lesson here is that your boyfriend shouldn’t prevent you from meeting your future husband. When I began dating my husband, I left behind my days of having multiple boyfriends—yes, I had about 20. Some assume I had no choice in marrying him, but it’s quite the opposite.”

Despite her love for Nwoko, Regina faced strong opposition from her family. “People thought my mom forced me into the marriage, but she was actually against it, along with the rest of my family,” she revealed.

Nwoko and Regina Daniels married in May 2019 in Aniocha Local Government Area, Delta State, bridging a significant age gap. The 63-year-old politician once explained his reasons for marrying the 23-year-old actress: “I wanted a wife from my hometown. When I met Regina, I knew she was the one.”
