A resurfaced video of music star Davido bragging about his influence is making the rounds online.
The Afrobeat singer, in the viral clip, said that apart from his father’s business accomplishments. He said he knows how many places his music has helped his family gain entry to.
Davido further bragged that he has the numbers of 14 presidents on his phone and can call them directly.
“Apart from my daddy’s business accomplishments, I know how many places my music has helped my family enter. I have 14 presidents’ numbers on my phone. I can call them directly”.
This comes hours after he met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Kemi Filani reported that the singer, his elder sister Sharon Adeleke, Cubana Chief Priest and his manager, Asa Asika, had met with the president. Sharing photos on his Instagram page, he disclosed that he met with President Macron on Thursday, October 23. Although he didn’t go into full details about his meeting with the French President, he did, however, disclose that they shared their vision for a better world.
In a past interview, Davido bragged about how one of the past presidents of Nigeria was vibing to his song, and even used it as his ringtone.
A year bacm, Davido’s cousin, B-Red had narrated how he sold 20TVs from the singer’s father’s house to raise money. He narrated how Don Jazzy had offered to help him and Davido with a condition, which led them to sell out Davido’s father’s Televisions in a desperate attempt to raise money. Though admitting that he regrets his action, he is, however happy that he did it.
In 2023, Davido had penned a heartfelt note to his father, recounting his impact on his life. He credited him for teaching him humility, hard work, and life principles, attesting that his father was the one who taught him that wealth shouldn’t change one’s personality.
