Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has declared that the price has been paid for her daughter Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala’s marriage to succeed.
Naijaonpoint reports that the mother of two made this known during Priscilla’s baby shower, which was held in Canada.
While speaking at the event, Iyabo declared that the negative marital patterns in her bloodline have ended with her.
She stated that her daughter will not go through the same experiences.
She encouraged women to start speaking positive words into the lives of their children and to reject the belief that ancestral curses or past failures must continue into future generations.
She affirmed that Priscilla’s marriage will last, that she will grow old beside her husband, and that she will raise her children in peace and love.
According to her, the foundation has been spiritually corrected and the mistakes of the past will not repeat themselves.
She said: “We women must begin to prophesy good things into the lives of our children. Don’t have the belief that because a certain thing happened to your mum, it happened to you and it must happen to your children. Break it. There is something called Ancestral curs£. You must break and stop it.
“Priscilla your marriage will work, you will grow old with your husband, he will be beside you, from the day of youth till the day of your old and you will be with your children because you have married right, you have married the bones of your bones, the flesh of your flesh. If mine didn’t work yours will work, for I have paid that sacrifice for yours to work.”
Priscilla got married to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in April 2025. They revealed last week that they are expecting their first child.
