Nigerian award-winning singer, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has dismissed online rumours about undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
Naijaonpoint reports that an X user had claimed Adekunle Gold had a bone marrow transplant, suggesting it would mitigate the effects of his sickle cell health condition.
... read, “Yes, he has, but since he’s had a bone marrow transplant, I don’t think it affects him that much anymore.”
In response, Adekunle Gold debunked the rumours and frowned at how people make false claims with so much confidence.
He said, “It is how you people will just say things you don’t even know with so much confidence. No, I haven’t had a bone marrow transplant.”
In other news, Nigerian actor Jerry Williams has been reportedly arrested by the police, Naijaonpoint reports.
He was whisked away from his home in Delta State by the officers on Monday morning, July 21, 2025.
The arrest was reportedly carried out with the assistance of Nwafor Franklin, popularly known as Izutech.
Actor Stanley Ontop raised the alarm through a video on social media, claiming that Jerry was forcefully taken to Benin, Edo State.
He expressed fear for Jerry’s safety and accused Izutech of owing N2.5 million, which was allegedly collected from producers who wanted to feature Jerry in upcoming films.
Stanley also called on the public to hold Izutech responsible if anything goes wrong with Jerry’s well-being.
