Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has responded to her colleague, Jim Iyke, over a wild birthday message to her on social media.

Naijaonpoint reports that in a lengthy post shared on his Instagram page, and laced heavily with sarcasm, Jim Iyke slammed Kate for treating his 23-year-old self as a younger brother when she was aware he wanted a romantic relationship.

The thespian expressed sadness that Kate stopped looking out for him, took everything he did literally, and ran off and married a white man.

“Fuck you, on behalf of my 23-year-old self, for treating me like your baby brother when you knew all that time I wanted to hit that.

“You kept manipulating my black ass by always looking out for me. Giving me a heads up at auditions. Sometimes, slipping a couple of bucks into my hands to make sure I got a meal or transport fare back to my cousin’s.

“Every time I stared in those dancing, beautiful eyes of yours, you knew I had an imagination that was far from friendly.

“Our love child would have been in his/her mid twenties now if you had let me experiment with my seed just a couple of times. What a gorgeous human we would have made together

However, reacting via the comment section of an Instagram blog post, Kate Henshaw reflected on their shared journey through the evolution of the Nollywood industry.

She wrote, “JIMBO, you already know, the journey to today, decades, we trekked, we hustled, we put in the work and STILL do.

“I got you whether we see everyday or every decade, thank you for always toning down your “madness” for me (inside joke). I love you Jimbo.”
