“I love you, son, and am over proud of you” – Annie Idibia reacts as stepson, Nino Idibia, celebrates her on Mother’s Day

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has reacted to the sweet Mother’s Day message she received from her stepson, Nino Idibia.

Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that to celebrate Mother’s Day, Nino shared a photo of himself, his younger brother Zion, and their mother, Sunmbo Adeoye, via his Instagram page, wishing her a happy Mother’s Day. He also shared an old photo of him, his brother Annie, and her first daughter, Isabel, with a love emoji.

Taking to her Instagram story, Annie reposted ... in which she affirmed her love for him. She noted that his mother, Sunmbo, must be proud of him, as she revealed how proud she is of him.

Mummy must be so proud of you, cos I ya mama over prouding is doing me too”.

Last month, Annie was in tears as her second daughter, Olivia, freestyled a heartfelt song for her. The mother of two shared a video of Olivia freestyling for her, as she assured Annie that she would be with her till the end. Captioning the video, Annie gushed over her mini-me as she called her ‘her superstar’.

On Mother’s Day in March, Annie’s first daughter, Isabella, had described her as the best mother a girl could ever ask for. Wishing her a happy Mother’s Day, Isabella affirmed her undying love for her.

At the Headies Awards, Annie had declared her daughters her backbone.

Also, at the award ceremony, Annie made headlines when she took a swipe at her ex-husband with her introduction. While presenting on stage, the mother of two reintroduced herself to the public, taking a swipe at her ex. She made it known that she is no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and announced to the world that she is single.

Refreshing your memory, in January, her legendary singer husband, 2baba, had announced his separation from her. He has since moved on from her with Edo-state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
