Nollywood actress cum movie producer, Toyin Abraham, has vowed to defend her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, over the consistent bullying and attacks online.
Naijaonpoint reports that Toyin, in a post via Instagram on Monday, said she has been praying for Iyabo Ojo and hoping that the attacks will stop.
The thespian expressed readiness to fight for her colleague, adding that she hopes the world will not fault her for overreacting to the issue.
She wrote, “Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop.
“But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react — and I pray the world won’t call it overreacting. Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it. Not just as a mum……but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go.”
Meanwhile, Iyabo Ojo has disclosed that her decision to ignore Lizzy Anjorin, despite the consistent insults, death wishes, and curses directed at her family and grandson, was deliberate.
Lizzy had consistently taunted and hurled curses at Iyabo Ojo and her family, including her grandson, Rakeem Mkambala.
In a post via Instagram on Sunday, the thespian admitted that she had often struggled to hold her peace and ignore the distraction because of God.
Iyabo stated that her legal team are handling the issue and preparing her for the battle ahead, emphasising that supporting her daughter, Priscillia, through the motherhood journey and standing in the gap requires her undivided attention.
The film star added that the issue with Lizzy will be tackled immediately she returns to Lagos.
