Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Eric Chelle, has lauded relentless Super Eagles and FC Nantes attacker, Moses Simon, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 29-year-old made his 81st appearance for Nigeria in the friendly clash against Russia yesterday evening. He’s scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists for the Super Eagles.
Moses Simon’s feat is no child’s play, and drew praise from Eric Chelle who described the fleet-footed winger as someone who always does his best to help the team.

“Can I add something? I am so proud of Moses. Whenever it’s a FIFA free day, he calls me saying he wants to come. Most times, I tell him to calm down, but he insists, ‘No, I want to play.’
“This guy wants to play every time for the Nigerian team, every time he wants to win for the country,” the Malian told Flashscore.
In return, the FC Nantes winger paid tribute to the Super Eagles manager, calling him a “man of war” in recognition of his fearlessness.
“I would say other (past coaches) brought hunger, but Coach Eric Chelle brought war into the team.
“In training, it feels like a battlefield. On match days, you can see the intensity from the first whistle. Even the substitutes know they’re coming in for a war. His motto is war and maybe that’s exactly what we were missing,” the former Levante man added.
Away from the Nigerian National team, Moses’ future with Nantes is in doubt as he has interest from elsewhere. Additonally, his contract with the Yellow Canaries runs out at the end of next season.
