I Thought I Was in Afghanistan, Not Bama — Lai Mohammed Reveals Shocking Boko Haram Devastation

According To Our Reporter, former Information Minister Lai Mohammed recounted his chilling visit to Bama, Borno State, on December 5, 2015, just after Boko Haram was driven out.

Speaking on the State Affairs show with Edmund Obilo, Mohammed said the town felt foreign, as every road sign and description was in Arabic evidence of Boko Haram’s caliphate headquarters.

He revealed that out of over 600 houses, not a single one remained intact, having been destroyed by retreating insurgents. Mohammed’s vivid account highlights the scale of devastation Boko Haram inflicted on communities during their reign. Watch full report
