Jennifer Odonwodo, wife of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has shared how her husband once left a playful note while borrowing money from her.

Naijaonpoint reports that the note was posted on her Instagram page.

The mother of three revealed that she and Junior Pope handled lending and borrowing money with care.

They created formal agreements stating the amounts, repayment dates, and even photographed the documents to prevent them from being lost, torn, or hidden.

She also said that lending money to a spouse or family member often comes with a high chance that it may not be returned.

She wrote: “Was Going Through Old Pictures And Came Across This…It Put A Very Wide Smile On My Face. Jp And I Got To Signing Agreements,, And Also Stating Dates And Time Monies Lent Would Be Returned. We Further Had To Take Pictures Of The Papers Incase The Paper Gets Missing,, Deliberately Torn Or Hidden By The Borrower,,We’d Bring Forth Pictorial Evidence Once You Lend Money To Your Spouse,, Sibling Or Close Family Member,,,There’s 90% Chance That Money Is Goneeeee Do You Lend Your Spouse,,Partner Or Family Member Money Or You Just Dash Them?? Let’s Discuss #JnrPopeliveson.,”

Junior Pope tragically drowned in 2024 at Anam River in Anambra State while on his way to shoot a movie, The Other Side Of Life.
