Popular reality TV star and disc jockey, Tolanibaj, has stated that she is ready to get married
The 31-year-old revealed that she no longer enjoys clubbing and wishes to settle down
She disclosed this in a video broadcast via her Snapchat recently.
She said, “I need to start being honest with myself. I no longer enjoys clubbing. I keep forcing it but… I want to see if I can experience some kind of excitement. I need excitement in my life. I’m tired of clubbing. I don’t want to be outside. What am I looking for outside if I have a partner? We can be outside together, maybe travelling.
“I’m done clubbing. I don’t feel like pretending to be having fun in the club anymore. I think it’s time to get married.”
She, however, said marriage is “a scary commitment,” stressing that she is unsure if she would still like it after being in it for some months.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has reacted to the backlash after she disclosed that she introduced her 17-year-old daughter to clubbing and alcohol.
Naijaonpoint reports that the movie star made the revelation in a recent interview with content creator, Mr Lilgaga.
According to Laide, she likes the fact that her daughter would reference her as the person who introduced her to nightlife and alcohol.
She said, “I took my daughter to the club for the first time at 17. And I like the fact that in her memoir, she would reference me as the person who introduced her to alcohol and clubbing.”
The remark sparked several reactions, with many berating the film star for introducing her daughter to alcohol and nightlife as a minor.
Responding to backlash in a post via her Instagram page on Saturday, the actress clarified she did not introduce her daughter to alcohol but only took her to a club.
According to Laide, the decision was because she wanted to give her daughter a bit of exposure towards the future, and she is not as bad as people think.
She wrote, “No, pls, I didn’t do Alcohol with @simlineboss, only club, and it’s just to give her a bit of exposure towards the future . I’m not as bad as you think.”
