New Al-Nassr manager, Jorge Jesus has suggested that he wants to help captain, Cristiano Ronaldo win trophies at the club.
Jesus also suggested that without Ronaldo he wouldn’t have joined Al-Nassr.
On Monday evening, Al-Nassr officially announced the appointment of Jesus as their new manager.
The Portuguese gaffer replaced Stefano Pioli, who recently left the club after a disappointing season which saw the club finish third in the Saudi Pro League.
Speaking on his new job after his appointment, Jesus said: “Without Cristiano Ronaldo, I certainly would not be here [Al-Nassr].
“The motivation is high. Al Nassr needs to win titles, just like Cristiano Ronaldo, who has always won everything at the clubs he’s played for.
“He has not won practically anything at this one yet, so I will see if I can help him. We speak the same language, so it will be easy. We are Portuguese.”
