I Was Caged For 14 Days, It Was Like A Debilitating Torture – Joe Igbokwe Breaks Silence After Absence From Social Media

Joe Igbokwe

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has disclosed how some individuals claimed he was kidnapped after Facebook restricted his account for 14 days.

Naijaonpoint reports that Igbokwe has been conspicuously absent from social media for some days.

Following his silence, a rumour emerged online suggesting that he had been abducted by armed men.

Addressing the claims in a post on his Facebook page on Sunday, the APC chieftain explained that his page was taken down pending an investigation into a suspected violation of community standards.

He dismissed those who claimed that he was kidnapped on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, describing them as children of hate, cultural savages and epicureans.

He wrote, “Facebook has just released my page. They said I was investigated, and they found out that I have not violated any community standards.

“I was caged for and shut up for 14 days. It was like a debilitating torture that has no limit. I derive joy in making sense to people.

“Immediately my page was pulled down, children of hate, cultural savages, epicureans went to town that I have been kidnapped on Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. It was a lie from the pit of hell.

“A story told by a certain group of charlatans and scoundrels without life, without soul, without honour, without dignity, without integrity. I forgive them.

“I derive joy, full of glories, in seeing good and ugly people coming to my page. It has been all fun. I thank Egondu Okorie, Peter Claver, Omoyele Sowore, Ngozi Nwolisa, Zara Onyinye, Kurtis Adigba, Uche Amagba, Tayo Oyetibo SAN, etc. May God bless you all. Amen, an endless Alleluia.”
