Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor visited one of her orphanage homes following her wedding.
Kemi Filani reported last month that the movie star had married Moc Madu, her filmmaker husband.
Two weeks after the wedding, Ruby shared a video on her Instagram and YouTube page of her visiting an orphanage home, City of David, to appreciate Jesus for the success of her wedding.
Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she declared Him her engine and powerhouse.
“So I went back to my “POWER HOUSE”
“CITY OF DAVID ORPHANAGE HOME” after my Wedding to tell Jesus “THANK YOU” for everything He did for my “HUSBAND & I.”
MY ENGINE HOUSE
MY POWER HOUSE
THANK YOU, JESUS CHRIST, FOR EVERYTHING
GOD CAN NOT BE MOCKED”.
Early this year, the newly married had bagged a humanitarian award. Declaring that giving is living, Ruby expressed gratitude to God as she stated that nothing gives her greater joy than doing the work of God.
In 2023, Ruby faced criticism for her approach to gifting money to children on the streets. The Asaba actress posted a video on Instagram of her throwing money on the street while children scrambled to pick it up. Fans responded to the video, suggesting that Ruby should have distributed the money to the children in a more organized and respectful manner.
That same year, Ojiakor had recounted how a fan embarrassed her at a movie location. She recounted how two fans stopped her and rained money on her, which left her shocked.
