Nollywood actress Ashabi has declared some powerful words to herself amid her drama with her baby daddy, Portable.
On her Instagram page, she said she stands with God and declares herself a winner. Ashabi further said that when the storm is over, she will go raise her shoulder.
“In GOD I Stand, I’m a winner, I’m not a failure, and I will never be.
When the storm is over, I go raise my shoulder”.
This declaration comes hours after Portable released a diss track targeting Ashabi and her family. He shared a video of himself vibing to the song, which poked fun at his relationship issues with Ashabi.
Kemi Filani reported on New Year that Portable and Ashabi has engaged in a heated argument, as Ashabi told the singer to kill her.
In an Instagram video, Portable claimed that Ashabi came to his house to attack his family. He claimed that his pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly, and guns were pointed at his children. He further claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using charm on her daughter and questioned why he didn’t buy a car for her.
Speaking up for herself, Ashabi explained that when she and her siblings went to celebrate the New Year with him, he pushed her and slapped her. She alleged that he brought out an axe and forcefully took all their phones, gave her younger brother a blow in his eye, and slapped her younger sister, which left her seeking safety in his office.
The relationship between Portable and Ashabi has been tumultuous over the past two years, since they went public with their love amid the singer’s marriage, however, the lovebirds continue to settle their fights and stick together.
In an Instagram post last year, the Yoruba actress said she couldn’t afford to fail because the lifestyle she wants is expensive. The mother of two prayed that we don’t labour in vain.
She slammed a troll who labeled her a babymama while checking up on her. Giving the troll an update on her health status, she referred to the troll as barren.
