Controversial pastor Victor Kanyari has spoken out strongly about the ongoing dispute surrounding the custody of his children following the death of his ex–wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.
Kanyari insisted that he will not allow anyone to block him from getting full custody of his children, saying it is both his right and responsibility as their father.
He expressed frustration over what he termed as efforts by certain individuals to interfere with his relationship with his children following Betty Bayo’s passing. According to Kanyari, he has always been present in their lives and wants to ensure they grow up in a stable and supportive environment.
The pastor added that he is ready to use legal avenues to protect his parental rights if pushed into a corner.
Kanyari’s firm stance comes at a time when family and friends are still mourning Betty Bayo, whose unexpected death shocked many Kenyans. The situation has sparked emotional discussions online about parenting, custody rights, and the future of the children she leaves behind.
