Ice Spice Booed Off Stage In Australia for Showing Up Late

Ice Spice trended online recently after she was booed and booted off the stage after showing up more than 20 minutes late to the set.

Ice Spice’s planned set at the Queensland, Australia’s Wildlands Festival was just 30 minutes.

After the rapper hit the stage, her mic was reportedly cut off less than minutes into her performance so the festival could stay on schedule. The “Much” star was only into her third song.

After the rapper was hit with more boos, she threw up a peace sign and left the stage without addressing the crowd.

Fans noted that the festival culture is different Down Under.

“Aussie crowds are very critical with time mainly because of curfew,” one viewer commented.

Another remarked, “Be respectful of people’s time. Show starts at 8 then you should be there by 6 doing sound checks and rehearsals. I don’t care if your set isn’t until 9 or 10. Bring back the professionalism.”
