President Bola Tinubu’s administration has been described as a disastrous catastrophe for the past two years.
This description of the present administration was given by a former Minister of Police Affairs, Adamu Waziri during an interview with Trust Television on Tuesday.
Waziri who described the Tinubu-led administration as a disaster compared to the much criticised government of the late former president Muhammadu Buhari.
He further stated that governance under Tinubu’s administration is sliding the nation into a deeper crisis.
“If the Buhari government was a failure, the Tinubu government in the last two years is a disastrous catastrophe,” he said.
He added that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu-led administration “has failed in all ramifications, and the country has regressed.”
Raising concerns over the growing insecurity across the states of the country, Waziri said corruption and economic hardship have spiked.
He added, “The economy is collapsing, ethnocentrism is at an all-time high, and insecurity continues to ravage many states.
“I am surprised that people whose local governments are under the control of bandits can appear on national television to endorse this government,” the former minister said.
He further called for an independent assessment of the present administration’s performance beyond optics and media appearances.
