An adorable video is making the rounds of music star Davido introducing his wife, Chioma Adeleke, to French President Emmanuel Macron.
Kemi Filani reported that the singer, his elder sister Sharon Adeleke, Cubana Chief Priest and his manager, Asa Asika, had met with the president. Sharing photos on his Instagram page, he disclosed that he met with President Macron on Thursday, October 23. Although he didn’t go into full details about his meeting with the French President, he did, however, disclose that they shared their vision for a better world.
In a clip making rounds online, the President was captured talking with Davido’s sister, when he interrupted them to show the president his wife. The singer had called Chioma on FaceTime, where he introduced her to the President.
In his caption, Davido said, “If it’s your turn, hide your wife.”
“If e reach your turn, hide ur wife”.
In other news, the Osun State Government had announced the appointment of Davido as the Chairman of the newly established Osun Sports Trust Fund. According to the government, the initiative aims to attract private investment and philanthropic support to revamp the sports sector, ensuring sustainable funding for athletes, facilities, and competitions.
In May, Nigerian business magnate and politician Senator Ben Murray-Bruce stirred the internet with his prediction for Davido. He predicted that the Singer could someday become the Governor of Osun State. He noted how the singer’s political potential isn’t only tied to his fame and his family’s significant political background, but also has the political DNA necessary for a successful political career.
Over the years, Davido has become actively involved in the politics of Nigeria, especially in Osun State.
During the Governorship campaign in Osun State, Davido actively campaigned for his uncle, and when he won, Davido celebrated openly online.
Last year, he celebrated his uncle on his latest finished project in Osun State. The project in question was a building project in Osun.
Also, last year, Davido revealed why he was interested in the Edo State gubernatorial election, as he questioned the police directive for Edo citizens. He declared INEC the most dangerous institution in Nigeria as he admonished Edo indigenes not to bow to them. He noted how he had to fight and rant for the Osun Election to be a success in 2022 and was waiting for Osun 2026.
