Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has recounted the experience of meeting 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.
Naijaonpoint reports that Portable, in a video shared on his social media page, said he only received a handshake the day he met Peter Obi.
According to him, the former Governor of Anambra State was flying economy while he was in first class.
According to the ‘Zazu’ crooner, the situation would have been different if it was President Bola Tinubu, stressing that he would have probably received ‘bundles’.
He said, “The day I saw Peter Obi, all I got was a handshake. I was flying first class while he was in economy. If it was Tinubu, he would have gifted me bundles”.
Meanwhile, Portable recently raised alarm over a plot to kill him after a performance in Ikorodu, Lagos, ended in chaos.
Naijaonpoint reports that Portable, in a video via his Instagram page, alleged that someone in the crowd attempted to inject him during the live show.
While recalling the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of his colleague, Mohbad, the ‘Zazu’ crooner said he narrowly escaped what could have been a fatal attack.
The singer further revealed that his leg was injured during the ensuing commotion as fans rushed to embrace him.
Portable clarified that no physical fight broke out at the show, but it was just chaos.
