Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has spoken out in support of Regina Daniels following the ongoing public drama surrounding her marriage to businessman Ned Nwoko.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Jegede encouraged Daniels to prioritize her safety, especially if domestic violence is involved.
She advised the actress not to allow online critics or social media trolls to influence her decisions.
Naijaonpoint reports that the mother of one affirmed that there is no justification for abuse in any relationship.
She wrote: “@regina.daniels if domestic violence is involved, leave to live. Do not let bitter & jobless internet tolls to bully you, there’s no excuse for domestic volence!!! We love you and your experience is valid.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian lawmaker and businessman, Ned Nwoko, has addressed the ongoing crisis in his marriage to Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
Naijaonpoint reports that on Sunday afternoon, Nwoko shared a lengthy post on his verified Instagram page, alleging that Regina’s abuse of drugs and alcohol is the main cause of the problems in their home.
He denied being violent toward her, claiming instead that she had turned aggressive in recent days.
According to his statement, the actress reportedly attacked three domestic staff and destroyed properties, including vehicles and windows, within 48 hours.
