The Ikirun College of Health Technology has announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for its accredited programmes in Community Health Technology and Public Health Technology.

In a statement signed by the College Registrar, Adeniyi Abdullah Adeoye, on Tuesday, the institution said the application process officially opens on June 25, 2025.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply early and follow official channels for updates on entrance exams and screening.

Located in Osun State and approved by the government, the College boasts of a strong academic foundation, practical health training, and a reputation for producing frontline health workers equipped to meet Nigeria’s evolving healthcare demands.

“Ikirun College of Health Technology remains committed to raising competent, ethical, and community-focused professionals through hands-on learning and academic excellence,” the statement read.

Available Programmes

Community Health Technology:
This programme prepares students to become community health practitioners capable of providing essential primary healthcare services such as health promotion, disease prevention, and basic treatments — especially in rural areas.
Public Health Technology:
This course equips students with skills to design and implement population-based health interventions, with core training in epidemiology, environmental health, health education, and public health ethics.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in core science subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These must be obtained in no more than two sittings from recognized examination bodies (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB).

Candidates must also be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
