THE Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has stated that he has no intention of giving up his love for dancing, stressing that it does not interfere with his responsibilities as governor.
Adeleke, popularly known as “the dancing governor” because of his energetic dance moves, has often faced criticism from political opponents who question his seriousness in office. Despite this, he maintains that dancing has no negative effect on his governance or his political ambitions.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, the governor, who is preparing for his 2026 re-election bid under the Accord Party, reaffirmed that his love for dancing is here to stay.
“I will keep dancing because I love to dance, I love to praise my God, and that doesn’t change anything,” Adeleke said. “So, I will still dance, praise my God, and do my work.”
