“I’m honoured to celebrate this special moment with you” – Funke Akindele tells Iyabo Ojo as she prays for Priscilla Ojo’s marriage

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has expressed pride in joining her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, in celebrating her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, at her wedding.

Taking to her Instagram page, she congratulated Priscilla and her husband, Juma Jux, on their wedding and prayed for the couple’s marriage to be filled with joy, love, and adventure.

In a message to Iyabo, Funke expressed how honoured she was to celebrate the special moment with her. She noted how Priscilla’s happiness is a testament to her love and dedication as a mother.

Funke further prayed that God would bless their union and grant them a lifetime of happiness, love, and prosperity.

It isn’t surprising to see Funke celebrating with Iyabo as the two have been constantly showing each other love since their reconciliation. Kemi Filani reported in 2022 that at Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award season 8, Iyabo and Funke had struck a close relationship after their messy fallout.

When Iyabo premiered her movie, Labake Olododo, Funke had given it her stamp of approval. Also, at the movie premiere, she had commended Iyabo. She praised the actress for the movie’s aesthetics, visuals and all and congratulated her on her new feat. Funke told Iyabo it was her turn to shine and admonished her to break boundaries.

Last year, the two had attended skitmaker, Kamo State’s wedding. The two, were the center of attention as they served friendship goals. In one of the viral clips that made rounds online, Iyabo was captured standing to greet Funke as she walked into the venue and sat beside her. In another video, the beautiful ladies were captured on the face floor as they showed off their dance skills, chit-chat, and hugged.

Akindele, in an interview, recounted how Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo helped her up the ladder and fought for her during her early career days. She said her being stereotyped because of her physical appearance, made her break down on one of her movie sets and Iyabo and Sikiratu stood up for her.
