Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, also known as Omah Lay, has sparked worry among fans after admitting that he is once again struggling with depression.

The 28-year-old Rivers-born singer revealed this on Monday night in a post on Snapchat.

The Reason crooner poured out his frustrations linking his current state to past recording contracts and experiences in the music industry.

He directed blame at his manager and also at himself for signing earlier deals that he now regrets.

He wrote, “F**k contacts. F**k labels. F**k the music business. F**k my younger self. F**k my manager.

“God please, I’m losing my mind again.”

This revelation comes weeks after Omah Lay ended his working relationship with his manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi.

While Awoniyi stated that the separation was amicable, the singer’s label mate, Kaestyle, insisted that Awoniyi was actually dismissed.

Omah Lay has spoken about his mental health struggles before.

His debut album Boy Alone, released on July 15, 2022, reflected his battle with depression.

Just days after its release, he disclosed on social media that his condition worsened following an affair with his therapist.

Omah Lay rose to fame after the release of his debut EP, Get Layd, which produced hit tracks like Bad Influence and Lo Lo.
