Nollywood actress, Kemisola Apesin, better known as Kemity, has opened up on the reason for her failed romantic relationship with an overseas-based lover, Herod Lammy.
Naijaonpoint reports that the thespian in an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo, on the YouTube podcast, said Lammy wanted a child but she refused.
Kemity stated that she is in the peak of her acting career, currently making money and will not risk slowing down her career.
The film star also added that their genotype also affected their relationship.
She said, “Things didn’t work out between us. He is a good man, and he is okay. He loves my job, but things didn’t work out. The reason is that he wanted me to have a child now, and you know, my children are growing gradually.
“It’s not as if I can’t get pregnant now, but I can’t leave my career. This is the peak of my career, and I am making money now. If I decide to go home for three years, my career will slow down.
“We discussed it, and he agreed, but I noticed that he wasn’t okay with it. He has had a child before. We couldn’t sort it, I am AS, and he’s also AS.”
