He however noted that he is not in a position to intervene or reconcile the two.

Bello, who represents Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, stated that while investigating the previous administration is not inherently wrong, it should be done with honest intent rather than as an act of vendetta or humiliation.

Speaking in an interview today he admitted feeling uneasy about the discord between his father and Governor Sani, given their significance in his life.

“Investigations are not bad, but they should be conducted with sincerity, not out of personal grievances or a desire to disgrace someone. If done with selfish motives, Allah will judge. Allah forgives personal flaws but does not overlook the harm inflicted on others,” he said.

Bello likened the situation to the natural course of relationships, noting that “just as marriages can end and friendships may break, what matters is making an effort to preserve relationships despite differences.”

Although he claimed ignorance of the root cause of the dispute, he doubted that either party harbored deep resentment.

“Neither of them has told me anything about the conflict. I only noticed that things are no longer the same, but the situation is being overly exaggerated,” he said.

Expressing his preference for peace, Bello remarked, “Even if my enemies were at odds, I wouldn’t be happy about it. I prefer harmony.”

Addressing calls for him to mediate, he stated, “That is not my role. My focus is on serving the people of Kaduna North. I value peace and loyalty, but if I were to address any issues, I would do so privately, not publicly.”

Politically, Bello lauded his father, asserting, “Mallam Nasiru has no equal. He is simply focused on his work. He remains my father, and it is surprising that some expect me to make a statement about Governor Uba.”
