Nigerian Singer Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has confirmed once more that P-Square, the music group he shared with his twin brother Paul Okoye, is no longer together.
Naijaonpoint reports that he made this known while reacting to a social media post suggesting that every music group has an expiry date, including P-Square.
Mr P responded by stating that he has moved on and he is now focused on building his solo career.
The singer also mentioned that his elder brother, Jude Okoye, and twin brother, Paul, will now carry on with what he called the “new P-Square.”
He encouraged fans to support them as they continue their own path in the music industry.
While Paul and Jude continue their partnership, Peter said he is no longer part of the group and is running his own race, making it clear that he now identifies as “his own Square.”
“Exactly! Judeboy & Rudeboy, that’s the new P-Square make una manage them. It’s their time. I dey on my own dey run my own race. I am my own Square,” he said.
The original P-Square group rose to fame with their energetic performances and hit songs, but internal family disagreements led to repeated breakups and reconciliations in the past.
