Nollywood actress Dakore Akande has spoken out following the death of her father.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that he brother Timini Egbuson had announced the passing of their father. He said he never thought he would start the year by saying RIP to his dad, and promised to continue to make him proud.
Taking to her Instagram page, Dakore said she is totally heartbroken yet glad that he is free from pain. She expressed gratitude for the memories and laughter, the legacy of excellence that he instilled in them, and his love for music and looking stylish.
She added that despite the complexity of their family, he is immensely loved and missed beyond comprehension.

Yoruba actor Adekola Tijani had lost his mother. Taking to his Instagram page to share a candlelight photo, he questioned his Maker, stating that it shouldn’t be him.
Also, actress Nuella Njubigbo had lost her father. The movie star announced the sad news with a candlelight photo as she prayed for her father to rest in peace.
Ini Edo also lost her father, who was her greatest cheerleader. Calling him her beloved father and first love, Ini promised that her late father would forever remain in her heart.
In January, Nollywood actor and comedian Woli Arole lost his beloved father. The actor described his late father as his hero and role model as he noted how he left a legacy, which is him. He admitted that he would miss him and expressed how happy he was that he spent his last moments with his father.
