Former Nollywood actor and preacher Woli Arole has criticised content creators participating in the Imbe Challenge, which mocks Children with Down Syndrome.
In an Instagram post, he described such behaviour as wrong, appalling and distasteful. He noted how people have kids living with this syndrome, and all they need is love and hope from them, not mockery.
“It’s totally wrong and appalling that some content creators are doing a challenge called “Imbe Challenge” using it to mimic Children with Down Syndrome.

Last week, Woli knocked woke women who choose surrogacy despite being healthy to carry their babies full term. He enlightened them that it is a blessing for a woman to carry her baby in her womb, admonishing women not to let wokeness derail them.
In another post, Woli had corrected a misogynistic mindset about women not having a voice in marriage. She said the ideology that women can’t talk or have opinions in marriage is wrong. He told men that submission doesn’t mean dumbness, noting that one’s wife is one’s helpmate.
The former actor also sent a message to Christians, revealing that mammon is already creaking into churches. According to him, talk of money and worship of money have taken over today’s churches. The preacher noted how Christ didn’t come to die so we could become rich but so we could have eternal life.
In different news, Arole sent a message to Nigerians in diaspora, admonishing them not to have a superiority complex because they live outside Nigeria. He claimed that he saw someone, and the person told him he just got back from America in a prideful way. Arole said he replied to the man, letting him know that he stays in Nigeria and he is doing so well.
