Winner of the Big Brother Naija Season 10, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has secured the fifth position in the reality TV show history by winning with 42.80 per cent of the finale votes.

Naijaonpoint reports that Imisi topped past winners of the show, including Mercy Eke, Phyna, and Ilebaye.

Based on official vote percentages at the finale, the winner of Season 5, Laycon, holds the record for the highest winning vote percentage in the show’s history, with an impressive 60.00 per cent of the final votes.

Meanwhile, Imisi has said her victory in the reality show was shocking to her.

In a post-show interview with Arise TV, Imisi explained that she was not expecting to win and was not properly dressed for the occasion when she stepped on the stage on Sunday.

She said, “Winning the reality show was shocking to me. Sincerely, I was not expecting to win.

“Before I got the show, I was tensed just hearing the crowd chant my name. I was shocked when I was announced the winner.

“I wore crocs to the stage because I am not comfortable in heels. I did not even plan for the live show.”
