WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA) has lifted the suspension on four members seven months after they were suspended Recalled members are Hon. Sam Otuibe representing Ahiazu Mbaise, Hon. Henry Agbasonu representing Ezinihitte Mbaise, Hon. Chidiebere Ogbunikpa representing Okigwe and Hon. Ezerioha Dominic representing Oru West. The four members were recalled after the Majority Leader of the House, Kanayo Onyemaechi who headed the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges presented a report before the house. Onyemaechi said the four house members were remorseful of the actions when the appeared before the committee and also promised to be of good conduct if they are recalled back to the house. The House, upon reviewing the report, accepted it as a working document and decided to reinstate the suspended Lawmakers, ensuring that all their entitlements remain intact. The State House of Assembly suspended the four law-makers on 2nd of July, 2024 for allegedly planning to impeach the speaker of the house.
