Nollywood acclaimed director, Patience Oghre Imobhio, has been awarded the “Best Female Filmmaker 2024” at the prestigious Nigerian Week London 2024.
The Nigerian Week London, an annual international festival showcasing the best of Nigerian entertainment, culture, and business, is organised by SRTV London in partnership with various Nigerian and British organisations.
Known for her exceptional directorial skills and captivating narratives, Imobhio was recognised for her outstanding contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
Her award-winning films have garnered critical acclaim both locally and internationally.
“Patience Oghre Imobhio’s award is a testament to the growing global recognition of Nollywood and the incredible talent that Nigeria has to offer,” said the organisers.
