‎Independent Hajj Reporters Sets September 11 for 2025 Post-Hajj Lecture, Recognition Event in Abuja

‎Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR) has announced that its Annual Post-Hajj Lecture and Recognition Event will hold on Thursday, 11th September 2025, at the Auditorium of the National Mosque, Central Area, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 am.

‎Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR) has announced that its Annual Post-Hajj Lecture and Recognition Event will hold on Thursday, 11th September 2025, at the Auditorium of the National Mosque, Central Area, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 am.

‎According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Ibrahim Muhammed, the 2025 edition will run under the theme: “For the Interest of Pilgrims: Nigeria and the Quest for Best Hajj Operational Practices.”

‎The organisation explained that the annual post-Hajj lecture serves as a platform for reflection and improvement. “...-Hajj Lecture provides a platform for stakeholders to review lessons from the 2025 Hajj, share best practices, and chart a path towards more efficient and pilgrim-focused Hajj operations in Nigeria,” the statement said.

‎The event is being proudly supported by the Jigawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Umar Namadi.

‎The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Chairman of the Occasion is Dr. Yusuf Adebayo Ibrahim, National Deputy President of the Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, described as a veteran in Hajj affairs and a former senior official of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

‎Also listed among the distinguished participants is Dr. Shehu Usman Muhammed (PhD), a Hajj affairs technocrat and former Kaduna State Commissioner of Education, who will deliver the keynote address.

‎”His Excellency Faisal Bin Ebraheem Alghamdi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nigeria (Guest of Honour)

‎”Ustaz Abubakr Siddeeq Muhammad, MD/CEO Comerel Travels and Tours (Guest Speaker)

‎”Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, Chairman/CEO of NAHCON (Chief Host)


‎“The support and participation of key stakeholders underscore the importance of this forum in improving the Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims,” the organisers stressed.
