India Love is owning up to her headline-making moment at the Streamer Awards. After unexpectedly walking onstage during the ceremony when FaZe Adapt was announced as Breakout Streamer, the influencer is now publicly apologizing and calling her actions “unnecessary” and “distasteful.”
Love had briefly congratulated Adapt during the interruption, but also argued that other nominees deserved the win. The crowd booed her in response.

Speaking to fans during a stream, Love said she wanted to give a sincere apology without excuses. She admitted she did not represent herself, her team, or her community well and described the moment as impulsive and selfish. She also noted that being under the influence did not justify her behavior.
Addressing Adapt directly, Love said she deeply regretted taking attention away from his moment and shared her deep respect for FaZe Clan. She shared that she is still new to the Twitch world and learning as she goes.
Love also apologized to Streamer Awards co-host QTCinderella, thanking her for the invitation and acknowledging she had no business being onstage. She closed by apologizing to her supporters and admitting she was completely wrong, adding that she would have felt terrible if the situation had happened to her.
