INTER Milan have made Ademola Lookman their top transfer target this summer and are preoared to cough up big money for the Super Eagles and Atalanta forward.

Reports today claimed that there have been discussions between Inter Milan and Atalanta, with last season’s Serie A and UEFA Champions League runners-up ready to make a non-negotiable €40 million offer.

According to European transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter are encouraged by the promise Lookman’s entourage reportedly made to the player last summer.

Atalanta are asking for at least €50 million for Lookman, but Inter are not prepared to go beyond their offer of €40m, regardless of any sales they make.

Lookman, 27, has reportedly already given the green light to the transfer, which is why Inter Milan want to ensure the negotiations are not long.

Should Atalanta insist on €50m, Inter have lined up other targets, including Nico Gonzalez.

The Juventus forward is on the list of attacking midfielders Inter are interested in— and Atalanta would also be interested in him if Lookman leaves.

Lookman joined Atalanta from RB Leipzieg for around €11m in August 2022 and his current contract expires in June 2027.

He has scored 52 goals and made 25 assists in 118 appearances, including a historic hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final in 2024.
