iPhone SE 4 apparently 'confirmed' to launch in March 2025

Apple’s next Special Edition iPhone, the iPhone SE 4, has been trending this year given its nearing launch. Thanks to multiple leaks and rumors, we now know what to expect in terms of specs and pricing of the iPhone SE 4. Now, a new report has apparently “confirmed” that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 4 in March 2025.

Analysts reportedly “confirmed” iPhone SE 4 will launch in March 2025 with Apple’s 5G modem

Today, folks over at MacRumors reported that Tom O’Malley and his colleagues traveled to Asia to attend to meet electronics manufacturers and suppliers. The analysts reportedly outlined key takeaways from that meeting in a research note mentioning they’ve “confirmed” that the iPhone SE 4 is set to launch at “the end of the first quarter next year” i.e. March 2025.

Worth noting that this information is in line with the report from earlier this month hinting at the March launch. In addition, analysts have also added that the upcoming Special Edition iPhone will feature Apple’s 5G modem. Again, that isn’t something we haven’t heard before.

However, it’ll be interesting to see where it would stand compared to modems from Qualcomm. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously hinted that the “iPhone 17 Air” could also come with Apple’s in-house 5G modem.

What to expect from Apple’s next-iteration of Special Edition iPhone

Previous leaks have hinted that the iPhone SE 4 could come in a similar design to the iPhone 14. The device might sport a 6.1-inch OLED display, a newer A-series chip, FaceID, and a USB-C port. The iPhone SE 4 is also rumored to feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera. Apple could launch the next-gen Special Edition iPhone with 8GB of RAM to make it eligible for Apple Intelligence.

In addition, you can expect to find at least 128GB of storage. When Apple launched the iPhone SE 3 back in March 2022, the pricing started at $429. Since the iPhone SE 4 might imitate the flagship design, Apple is likely to charge for the same. In fact, rumors are there that the starting price of the iPhone SE 4 could be between $499 and $549.
