Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has berated President Bola Tinubu over the current state of the nation.
Naijaonpoint reports that Nigerians, in recent times, have been living in fear following the spate of kidnappings in various parts of the country.
In a post via his Facebook page, the movie star stated that bandits are gradually taking over the country and kidnapping is becoming a daily occurrence.
Yul Edochie also lamented the high cost of items, stressing that the suffering has become unbearable for Nigerians.
He wrote, “Dear President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, bandits are gradually taking over the whole country, spilling the blood of Nigerians without consequences. Nigerians are being kidnapped in numbers daily. Things are so expensive, the suffering is unbearable for Nigerians. Is this the renewed hope you promised Nigerians?”
Meanwhile, Yul Edochie recently raised concerns over the declining use of the Igbo language among the younger generation.
In a Facebook post, the father of five said that many Igbo children today are unable to speak their mother tongue.
He described it as a failure that must be addressed by parents and the community.
He wrote: “Today, many of us who are Igbos, our children cannot speak Igbo. “It’s a failure on our part that must be corrected moving forward.”
