Israel DMW, one of Davido’s aides, has reacted to a shocking claim from his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Kemi Filani reported that Sophia, while addressing a false narrative about her, revealed that she has been the primary caregiver for Imade for the past five years and has handled all her expenses except school fees. Sophia revealed that she waived all outstanding child support payments and relinquished future claims. This has left her responsible for her child’s financial needs, which is a welcome development for both parties.
On a blog’s comment section, Israel DMW wrote, “There’s God o. Hmmmm”.
Last year, the niece of Dele Momodu had slammed Isreal, for attributing all her efforts to the singer. Sophia had taken Imade to Monaco on a vacation, and Israel DMW had commented, saying that it was Davido’s money that sponsored the trip, which didn’t sit well with Sophia, who wasn’t receiving monetary benefits from the singer.
In May, Davido announced that he had finally reunited with his mini-me as he shared photos of him with Imade. The music star declared it the best day of his life.
In June, Sophia and Davido had reunited for the first time in 3 years for Imade’s 10th birthday party. The former couple were captured maintaining social distance as they pose for camera with their daughter.
Recall that last year, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer reunited with his now wife, Chioma. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
