Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has shared a deep message on uplifting others.
On her Instagram page, she noted that some are collaborating and still winning, while others want to use competition to harm her. She also noted how some are plotting the downfall of others.
Nkechi lamented over how there is less genuine support. She stated that it costs absolutely nothing to lift the next person without hate or envy.
“Some are collaborating and still winning, while some who use competition wound themselves, another set sit down for corner dey hit chest say another human being no go succeed. For this life, wey nothing dry inside? For this life wey you fit sleep no wake up? Why you come hold am so strong? No genuine support again, if you chop I chop na so d life go take sweet.
It costs absolutely nothing to lift the next person without hate or envy”.
In September, Nkechi remembered her late mother during her tough times. The mother of one said there was no one to call her each time she found herself on the blogs, reminding her of how strong she is. She told her late mother to never stop watching over her.
The movie star had lashed out at a troll for marriage-shaming her. She questioned why people think it’s okay to attack her personal life simply because she is in the spotlight, forgetting that she is human.
The Yoruba star had also lashed out at a person for posting unflattering photo of her from the gym. She noted how one can’t disgrace a woman clothed with so much grace, as she hands over the person to God for judgment.
In a follow-up post, NBS, via her Instagram page, express pride in herself. She encouraged herself to keep going, noting how she was a work in progress.
In September, Nkechi broke down in tears on social media over a lady’s ploys to tarnish her brand. Nkechi noted that she is human and blood runs through her veins. She stated that she doesn’t have any means of livelihood and wasn’t the type to sleep with men to earn a living.
In July, NBS, as she is fondly called, had shed tears of joy as she signed a life-changing deal. She credited her huge success to God, noting that delay wasn’t denial. NBS revealed that she was supposed to sign the deal in February, but the devil did his thing as usual.
